Alun Hathaway

Alun is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. As a versatile drummer and percussionist Alun is often seen performing with many orchestras, jazz ensembles, pop bands and musical theatre tour companies. Recent artists that Alun has worked alongside include Sir James Galway, Lesley Garratt, Hayley Westenra, Russell Watson, Bryn Terfel and BBC Television’s “Last Choir Standing” Only Men Aloud. He is also regularly involved with studio recording sessions and television productions and has extensively toured Europe, South East Asia and America.

Alun is also heavily involved in musical education. As well as being the percussion tutor at Haberdashers Monmouth School for Boys Alun regularly presents workshops and master classes in schools and colleges around Great Britain.
